“An amazing occurrence happened in South Africa when 31 elephants made a “Journey To Pay their Respect.”
Lawrence Anthony, author of “The Elephant Whisperer,” spent much of his rescuing elephants and other wildlife, including the animals of Baghdad Zoo during the US war on terrorism in 2003.
Lawrence Anthony died on 7 March 2012. What followed was something astounding… wild elephants showed up at his home 2 days after he died.
Lawrence’s wife, Francoise, said the elephants had not been to his house for over 3 years, yet they knew where they were going and obviously wanted to pay their respects to the man who had saved their lives.
